beeches of madame ess is a collaborative music project comprised of, but not limited to Andy K, B Nova, Steven Tomlinson,& Robin Mapes, and Marc Kline. Our music in this first cd was created on the road using only battery powered keyboards and acoustic instruments. We conceived of this idea as a chance to make a musical representation of our group road trip to Nova Scotia, Canada, which by the way is the home of alexander keith's beer..." Those who like it, like it a lot!", and we certainly did. Each song was composed at various campsites we stayed at so if the listener hears something that sounds like a campfire it most likely is so. Some of those areas include Bangor Maine, the ferry ride cat, Blomidon, Cheticamp, which is a beautiful site in Cape Breton. The album was all recorded on field recorders on location.
