Biography
Memoirs of a Fallen Bomb is the solo project of Robert Fogwell. MOAFB started as a collaboration between Robert Fogwell, then going by CXX, and John Delorto (Karmakongen.) They worked on an album together using the internet to swap ideas. The album was titled "Memories of Things That Never Happened" and was put under the band name In Paradisum. The album was never really released, just distributed amongst a few friends. The band broke apart and both members released their respective parts separately. Delorto did the synth work while Fogwell did the guitars. The two releases were titled "Memories of Things That Never Happened" by Karmakongen and "Ambient Guitars : Winter 2006" by Memoirs of a Fallen Bomb. Several other projects that Fogwell was working on have since fallen into this moniker, making Treble For Glow, Monuments of a Lost Cause, Pluto, iNoMore, and CXX all obsolete bands. "I didn't see any reason in having so many solo efforts. I decided to do everything solo under one name, no matter what style the music is." MOAFB follows a DIY ethic.
