This summer, Rack & Ruin will be putting out a brand new "Various Artists" collection of summery tracks - think, upbeat, happy, poppy, or at least somewhat optimistic! Like our other Various Releases, these are open to Rack & Ruin artists, and those who aren't affiliated with the label at all. These albums tend to get regular downloads, and so it works out great for everybody. If you are an artist, or in a band that make music that fits the criteria, then please feel free to send a high quality .mp3 or FLAC of the track to Rack & Ruin. Chimney Fish - Drown Sailor Drown!

It's always nice when somebody blogs about a Rack & Ruin release, especially when it is one of the releases that came out a while ago. What happens is that there is a snowball effect, which not only effects the release that has been talked about, but many other releases that appeal to the new visitors. This has happened this month to the excellent debut from Chimney Fish. At the time I felt that this was going to be special, and so it is nice to see that it is receiving the acclaim that it is so deserving. 2300+ downloads this month due to a post on "Free Albums Galore". Let us hope that there are many more reviews from this 'little netlabel' on there!
