Don't be fooled by the fact that there have been no news updates this week, as it's been a busy busy one. Redesigning the site takes a lot of doing, but slowly and surely we will be moving away from this funny greeny/blue that you see now. I aim to have the site up very soon, and so this next release may even be the first of the new reign. Exciting hey? Well more exciting is the fact that this release is a new one from Minor Constellations - grab it now!

Noise pop is a buzz genre right now, and if justice is to be served the internet may just have uncovered a new buzz artist. This is more JAMC than Wavves, and yet it manages to sound more "now", rather than yesterdays news. Let R&R proudly introduce ....

R&R have always been fans of throwing the occasional curveball, so here is a little treat that you've not had in a while... a midweek release! This is a special one, as it is Elm's first ever recording. An archive of past tracks that may possibly show where he came from, and give a clue as to where he ended up.

Our shop is brimming, and if your pockets are jangling then why not help a musician out with a purchase? The options are growing as *** have nicely packaged their release "Soul Tide", so you can be a proud owner of this limited release. Check out the shop right away!

It's been a busy week behind the scenes, and so it is greatly rewarding to be able to finish a week off with such a quality release. "Thorizine Punk" is the first R&R release from LA's Testicular Manslaughter. With such a high output of material, it is constantly amazing that the quality is never lessened.

I think the biggest compliment you can pay an artist on your little netlabel is to tell them that you've been singing their song around the house for the past three days. This has been my situation this week, reproducing poor renditions of a track on the wonderful debut album from Woodland Heights. Fortunately you can now hear the untainted version, and perhaps create your own renditions of these catchy little numbers.
For those of you expecting our next release to be from Elm. We've had a little shuffle around, and the next release will be from R&R new boy, Testicular Manslaughter. There will be a midweek release very soon to try and ease the backlog.

We're currently busy working on a Merchandise area for the site, after a number of artists expressed interest in selling their wares via the website. Assurances are given that all of your hard earned $$$ goes directly to the artist (although if you would like to show your appreciation to R&R, we happily take donations via the about page of the site!) The first artist to appear in the shop will be Dublin Duck Dispensary. You can buy his excellent new album, entitled Yykes Basket, by going to his page.
