Without blowing the labels trumpet too much, what an amazing batch of recent releases! This is going to continue with a record, that I would not be surprised to see in a few "best of 2008" lists. Jason the Swamp sees a triumphant return to Rack & Ruin with his outstanding self titled record. A must.

Our midweek release sees the welcome return of Tropical Australian Stinger Research Unit, otherwise known by the handy acronym of TASRU. This "e-single" contains an A and a B side, just like ye olden days of 7" vinyl. No dust will need removing before you can check out these fresh sounds!

It wasn't long ago that Megazord was playing his first ever show, well how quickly things can move on! He will be playing on December 9th at the reknowned "Bottom of the Hill" venue in San Francisco, supporting Railcars.

It's been a while since The Macadamia Brothers were mentioned around these parts, and so before announcing that you can download the gorgeous Cissura EP for gratis, I should really tell you about what he (Scott Milligan) has been up to. Well apart from creating more aural delights under this guise, he has also been working with Almonds, Cohen, under the guise The Almonds Brothers.. it had to be, didn't it. Concrete, Experimental, Field Recordings, whatever box you try to put _ in to, he crawls out at the other side and reinvents himself in the process. This is a continuation of course, but the abstract turns aren't always plain to see.
